Bridging the gap

Jamie dug through his inventory until this bridge fell out and magically connected two mountain peaks on our land. Then we had to stand on it a good fifteen minutes and stare at ourselves. It happens. -.-

My Pup

Tonight, I took Nick's soul and turned him into a hybrid vampire/werewolf. Here, you can see him in his werewolf form. Handsome lil' pup, isn't he? I'm quite impressed with him and it's the one time when I've actually felt rather protective over anyone I've turned (apart from Jamie). I'm all proud Papa Wolf and shit. It's kind of cool.
I'm loving this wolf avatar, too. It's got a ferociousness to it that'll be good for our battles, along with all sorts of nifty AO enhancements that will come in handy. Okay, Jamie's distracting me and I've forgotten everything that I was going to add here. In any event. AaaaooOOOOOOWWWwwwwwww. G'night.

In hindsight. . .

We might have looked more impressive, had we not been standing in the field of flowers behind our home. Nevertheless, we stand.

The Stuff in the Middle

I love our SL home. I really do. The pic above is of my avatar sitting in one of the streams that meanders through our land. The bridge, we came across on one of our explorations and had to run out and immediately buy it. The same thing with the log, which came with a bunch of sits and swims and a nifty running water sound. When I want to relax, this is where I go. Here or the dock that we have. Which is funny, because I'm usually one for sitting on the beach and watching the waves and while we have that part on our land, as well, I don't find myself heading in that direction very often. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that it's all the way at the end of the sim and I'm too lazy to fly or walk down to it. *shifts gaze to the side*

Away from home, it's not always that peaceful. My friends and I enjoy shooting things, sometimes even each other. Nick, I'm convinced, has nothing else on his mind, but devising ways to kill me or beat me up (although I was the one who may have suggested boxing). We're always finding new things to play with on SL and I think that's what I love most about it, apart from being away from the constant whining and griping and screwing people over that I found on The Other Site. On Second Life, it's so easy to get lost and to not have everything you might not like about certain sites staring you right in the face all the time. I'm ADD, so it's safe to safe that I can easily get distracted when there is actually something there worth distracting me.
Mind you, I've had drama on Second Life. I know it exists. Drama exists anywhere that humans are. It's one of those things that will simply come up, when you interact with other people. I'm a nip it in the bud kind of guy, though. Delete, block, move the fuck on. Unless it has a way of stalking you. Which, unfortunately, it sometimes does. There will always be idiots in the world. I'm just waiting on a law to pass that I can shoot them in the face like I do the zombies.

New stuff at 7mad;Ravens. I'm watching Pitch Perfect (yeah, yeah, I know. Shut up) so I'm not writing a big spiel about them. They're jeans. And a shirt. Wooo! All our problems now solved.

I've always sucked at proper introductions, esp. of myself. Still, that's hardly a valid excuse to never say anything about who it is that other people are reading words from. Did that make sense? It did in my head, but I never know how stuff from my head is going to translate, esp. when I've not been properly caffeinated.
In any event. I'm Poe and I'm your host for the evening. This lovely person with me in the photo is my RL partner, Jamie. We met nearly seven years ago on a little virtual chat program somewhat like Second Life called IMVU and you know that whole 'love at first sight' bullshit? Yeah, we had that. We spent two years connected virtually, before deciding to meet in person and since then, we've been living together. He's truly my soulmate and I love him, heathen that he is. (Don't be confused by the avatar; Jamie is male in RL, but prefers a female avatar. Though, in truth, it hardly matters to him either way of what he's thought of by anyone else.)
We've both been creating on the other site, IMVU for around six years or so and we created for a short time on Second Life under another name, Well Versed, for a few years, a while back. Because of some real life stuff, we had to take a break and decided to go back to IMVU, although our goal has always been to go back to SL and create there, again. So yeah. Here we are. Creating (for now) under the logo of 7mad;Ravens. He's now learning to mesh and putting out a few things that will be featured in the store, which is, for now, only on the Marketplace. We're in the designing phase of the mainstore, in world, at the moment and he's going to be building that. Until it's finished, I don't think we're going to bother with setting up anything inworld, only to have to take it down in the future, once the mainstore is built. I'm looking forward to it, because the design we're working on promises to be really fucking cool and I can't wait to see it come to life. Here's to hoping that nothing comes up to ruin shit for it.
As for 7mad;Ravens and what to expect from the store, I can only say that I'm a horse of a different color and one day I might feel like making this and the next day I'll feel like making that. I can sit here all day long and tell you what my plans are, but the next day, those plans may change. I get off on being a contrary bastard, it seems. So yeah. In the end, I'd just like to see people from all walks of life finding something inside the store that they might like. Anyway, I'm boring myself. And I need to work my RL job. G'day and all that shit.

I seriously do suck at titles

New item from 7mad;Ravens and it comes in the form of leather. We all like leather, don't we? Well, you should.
Wayward leather cuff set is a 100% original mesh, created by my partner, Jamie Cross, and textured by my rough, dirty hands. So yeah, they're a bit smudged, but that's alright. We'll all live if we get a little dirt on us. Reminds me of a little saying my mother used to tell me when I'd drop food on the floor. 'God made dirt, dirt won't hurt. Put it in your mouth and see how it works'.
I was perfectly okay with eating dirty food before then, but having her lil' rhyme to excuse my sometimes not so cleanly eating habits was a bit reassuring to me, as a young lad, I suppose. Thankfully, I don't drop nearly as much food now and if I did, we own seven cats, so I'm sure I wouldn't be fast enough to pick it back up and pop it in my mouth.
I suppose I should get to the point of this post, which is to show off these cuffs. Available on the Marketplace, only, because my store's still being designed and built, so yeah.

Home Sweet Home

Gift Boxes are a wonderful thing

Jamie (my RL and SL partner) finished the gift box for the store today and I'm all kinds of excited about it. Look at it. Just looooook at it. *stares*

I'm so proud of him. He's came such a long way with learning to build and mesh. Right now, he's working on putting my favorite cuffs that he made for me in IMVU into SL and I'm looking forward to putting those onto my avatar.
In other news, I've had a fresh mess of green beans cooking in the crock pot  all night with some red potatoes and onions and the smell of them is completely distracting me from much of anything else. It's perfectly alright to have green beans for breakfast, right?

Grease Monkey

7mad:Ravens on the Marketplace is finally open. Paving the way is the Greaser line for men.  It's a lot of greasy, a lot of dirty. Shows you've been working all day and the ladies do love a man with a job.
100% Mesh, so grab the demos to try the fit on your avatar, before purchasing. New to mesh? Make sure you have a mesh enabled viewer, else you won't see mesh properly. Make sure to wear your alphas (choose add, in the stead of wear, so you can layer those babies on).
The Greaser line has two shades of jeans, black and blue, both comes with grease rag for the back pocket and there is a texture changing HUD with seven different textures for it.
